Greg Sullivan, Chair, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, leads the MMS management team. Mr. Sullivan has extensive experience in the Medical Device Industry with over 25 years in the minimally invasive neurology and cardiology market. His extensive experience combines a traditional corporate background with leadership roles in several emerging technology medical device companies. He has been involved in the successful launch of over 25 products in the endovascular, interventional cardiology, interventional neurology and ENT markets. His leadership has taken these devices from development to building innovative minimally invasive technology through demonstrated clinical outcomes, to acquisition and sale of a mature organization.

Mr. Sullivan has held Senior Management positions for both public and venture backed private companies.   He has served in progressively responsible roles for Arterial Vascular Engineering (acquired by Medtronic, 1998, $4.3 billion), Precision Vascular Solutions (acquired by Boston Scientific, 2002, $80 million), Acclarent, Inc. (acquired by J&J 2007, $785 million), Chestnut Medical (acquired by EV3/Covidien 2008 $100 million). Several of the products in which he was intimately involved with remain industry leaders to this day.

John Fletcher founder of Fletcher Spaght, Inc. and Managing Partner of Fletcher Spaght Ventures. FSI has been unique in applying analytic rigor coupled with operational expertise to a broad range of clients, portfolio companies and the investment community. John has particular interests in devices, specifically in cardiology, cardiac surgery, and orthopedics, as well as in biopharma and healthcare IT.

Prior to founding Fletcher Spaght, John was a Senior Manager at The Boston Consulting Group, advising a broad range of companies in healthcare and high technology industries.

John currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for ClearPoint Neuro, Koru Medical, Metabolon. Previously, he served as Chairman of Spectranetics during its turnaround and subsequent sale to Philips N.V. For this work as well as his work on the board of Axcelis Corporation, he was selected as Director of the Year by the National Association of Corporate Directors. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Corporate Collaboration Council at the Thayer School of Engineering/Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and serves on the Board of Advisors of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Whitehead Institute at MIT.

John received his MBA from Southern Illinois University, a Master’s degree in International Finance from Central Michigan University, and a BBA in Marketing from George Washington University. He was an Instructor for courses in international business and a PhD Candidate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He served as a Captain and jet pilot in the U.S. Air Force and continues to be active in aviation.

George Quinoy is a seasoned C-suite executive with a proven track record of building and scaling commercial enterprises in the medical device and vascular space. Throughout his career, George has played a pivotal role in driving rapid and sustained expansion for renowned companies, including AVE, Medtronic, ACS/Guidant, Volcano Corp., and most recently, Provisio Medical.

He has demonstrated expertise in commercialization, strategic planning, forecasting, and product launches, building world-class sales organizations that lead to successful acquisitions by industry leaders. His leadership at Volcano Corp. helped grow the company from startup to over $400 million in annual sales, culminating in the company’s acquisition by Royal Philips in 2015.

George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida and continues to be a key influence in vascular innovation and commercialization.

Joseph M. Ruggio, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I, Dr. Ruggio earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, New York where he graduated AOA. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases also at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His Interventional Cardiology training post- fellowship continued at a number of distinguished institutions in the U.S. Dr. Ruggio is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology. 

Dr, Ruggio is the founder and President of Pacific Cardiovascular Associates Medical Group, Inc. (PCA) and serves as President and Chief Medical Officer of Via Vitae MSO, LLC, a Southern California medical services organization which is a partnership with Optum Specialty Practices. Dr. Ruggio serves on various national committees for quality initiatives, value-based care and healthcare reform. He also participates on scientific advisory panels, medical advisory panels at the local and national level and is a board member for several prestigious organizations that include:

• Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions
• The American College of Cardiology (California chapter)- Chairman of Quality Initiatives Committee
• Monarch HealthCare- Board of Directors
• Optum Care Cardiovascular Best Practices Committee

Additionally, he has served as Director of Invasive/Interventional Cardiology for several well-known Southern California hospitals.

Dr. Ruggio has received numerous distinctions and accolades from both academic institutions and managed care organizations. As testimony to the high regard he is held by his colleagues, he was voted “Cardiologist of the Year” by the American College of Cardiology in 2007 and “Provider of the Year” by CalOptima in 2016. Dr. Ruggio has co-authored many articles appertaining to Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Health Care Delivery in a managed care setting. He is considered an expert on incentive alignment and care delivery network design and implementation delivering true value for all stakeholders. He is passionate about clinical medicine, particularly Interventional Cardiology and is a staunch patient advocate. 

Dr. Ronald Solar received his Ph.D. in Biomaterials and Materials Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and has been designing and developing medical devices for over 45 years. He co-founded several successful medical device companies, including Y Med (sold to CR Bard), X Technologies (sold to Guidant), Pameda/Occam (sold to Cordis) and Versaflex (sold to Medtronic). Dr. Solar also played key leadership and development roles for Edwards, Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, SciMed and Medtronic, and he currently holds over 68 US patents.

In 1989, Dr. Solar was recognized by President George H. W. Bush as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans, and Junior Chamber International (JCI) selected him as one of the Ten Outstanding Young People of the World for his contributions in medical innovation. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and his current research interests include peripheral, neuro and cardiovascular disease, vascular injury, local drug delivery, and selective hypothermia to treat stroke and other cerebral ischemic disorders.
