George Quinoy, President and CEO is a seasoned C-suite executive with a proven track record of building and scaling commercial enterprises in the medical device and vascular space. Throughout his career, George has played a pivotal role in driving rapid and sustained expansion for renowned companies, including AVE, Medtronic, ACS/Guidant, Volcano Corp., and most recently, Provisio Medical.

He has demonstrated expertise in commercialization, strategic planning, forecasting, and product launches, building world-class sales organizations that lead to successful acquisitions by industry leaders. His leadership at Volcano Corp. helped grow the company from startup to over $400 million in annual sales, culminating in the company’s acquisition by Royal Philips in 2015.

George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida and continues to be a key influence in vascular innovation and commercialization.

Dr. Ronald Solar received his Ph.D. in Biomaterials and Materials Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and has been designing and developing medical devices for over 45 years. He co-founded several successful medical device companies, including Y Med (sold to CR Bard), X Technologies (sold to Guidant), Pameda/Occam (sold to Cordis) and Versaflex (sold to Medtronic). Dr. Solar also played key leadership and development roles for Edwards, Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, SciMed and Medtronic, and he currently holds over 68 US patents.

In 1989, Dr. Solar was recognized by President George H. W. Bush as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans, and Junior Chamber International (JCI) selected him as one of the Ten Outstanding Young People of the World for his contributions in medical innovation. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and his current research interests include peripheral, neuro and cardiovascular disease, vascular injury, local drug delivery, and selective hypothermia to treat stroke and other cerebral ischemic disorders.
